Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description: Reporting to the Head of Development, the duties and responsibilities of the Software Developer include:

  • Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain desktop-based and Web business applications built on Microsoft technologies.
  • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
  • Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications.
  • Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems.
  • Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
  • Package and support deployment of releases.
  • Understanding the functional documentation and writing your own technical document, pseudo code, and follow the laid down norm to write code blocks.
  • Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.

Provides technical and functional expertise, guidance, and direction to staff of the project teams
Consults with functional leaders on multiple features of various industries, multiple disciplines, and teams working on multiple locations to develop architecture that supports and enhances performance-driven solution goals
Prepares and maintains detailed documentation regarding design and development for requirements, design documents, data flows, reporting, communication structures
Responsible for single program or portfolio of projects; responsible for architecture, analysis and design activities with the project team including establishing project objectives, scope and implementation blueprint consistent with best-practices strategies
